ABOUT ME
I'm an environmental epidemiologist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) with experience in air pollution and extreme heat epidemiology.
My research interests bridge climate change, vulnerability and health disparities research. At NCAR, our research team recently completed a study investigating the joint effects of extreme heat (indoors and outdoors) and ozone on the health of elderly populations in Houston, Texas. My ongoing research has helped identify socio-demographic factors that contribute to vulnerability and health disparities.
